In our project with High Sierra, a brand renowned for its adventurous and durable outdoor gear under the Samsonite portfolio, we assumed the roles of Architect and Tech Lead. Our objective was to create an online platform that reflects High Sierra's rugged and adventurous spirit. Leveraging advanced technologies such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Google Tag Manager, and Cybersource, our collaboration with High Sierra's in-house marketing team was pivotal. We focused on developing an e-commerce site that not only appeals to the outdoor enthusiasts but is also top-notch in functionality and ease of use.
The digital architecture for High Sierra was conceptualized to mirror the brand’s ethos of adventure and resilience. Utilizing the Salesforce Commerce Cloud's Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA) as our foundation, we aimed to establish a robust and adaptable online environment.
Key to this project was the integration of various cutting-edge technologies to enrich the customer experience. This involved incorporating Apple Pay for effortless payment processing and Salesforce Order Management for efficient order tracking and management. Our goal was to ensure that the High Sierra online platform was seamless, delivering an intuitive and engaging shopping experience to its active and outdoorsy audience, regardless of the volume of site traffic or operational complexities.
