OVERVIEW

Samsonite, a globally acclaimed travel bag & luggage brand, selected Red Van Workshop's Autobahn, a dedicated SFCC accelerator, as the foundation for their new website. In this project, I collaborated intimately with Samsonite's in-house marketing team, delivering an e-commerce platform that is not only aesthetically appealing but also packed with functional features.

The website's architecture prioritizes user-friendly merchandising and management, championing the "clicks not code" philosophy. By leveraging Salesforce's Page Designer to its full potential, we empowered the design team with greater flexibility and autonomy, allowing them to shape both the visual appeal and functionality of the site.

ARCHITECTURE

In developing the online presence for the Samsonite family of brands, I focused on creating a platform that was not only scalable and secure but also rapid and user-friendly. Our foundation was the Salesforce Commerce Cloud's Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA), which allowed us to build a robust yet flexible framework.

Throughout this project, we integrated several advanced technologies to enhance the customer experience. This included the incorporation of Apple Pay for seamless transactions and Salesforce Order Management for efficient order processing. Our goal was to ensure that each site within the Samsonite family functioned seamlessly, providing a smooth and engaging user experience, regardless of the scale of traffic or the complexity of the user needs.
